Our Process
We follow a standard approach for both in-clinic and in-home clients, including:
Consultation
Foot health can be complex, with numerous additional health factors to consider before implementing a course of treatment. Our initial consultation is essential for us to create a plan tailored to your needs.
This first assessment allows us to get to know you and understand any current and historical concerns.
+
First Treatment
We see the first treatment session in your plan as an extension of your initial consultation, and as such, it is included in the cost of that consultation.
We arrive at every appointment with the instrumentation and products required to begin your journey to healthier feet, and can get started with your treatment during this first appointment.
Our Practice
We strive to offer the highest quality of care to our clients. In addition to our consultation and treatments, you can expect us to deliver the following.
A Personalized Plan of Care
After your initial consultation, we’ll take our findings and use these to formulate a treatment plan that addresses your concerns. In some cases, we may coordinate with your doctor or other primary care providers, with your consent, to ensure your foot care plan aligns with and complements any other health care you may be receiving.
Before starting any treatment, we’ll clearly communicate about your treatment plan to ensure you’re comfortable moving forward.
Clinical Sterilization
We pride ourselves on delivering care that meets the highest clinical standards for hygiene and sterilization. We use our own Class B autoclave to sterilize instruments after each client visit and ensure that they remain sterile until the point of use, and meet Canada’s stringent Infection Prevention and Control (IPAC) standards.
Friendly & Accessible Service
In setting our fee structure, we’ve considered standard coverage rates from secondary insurance providers, and the cost of in-home and clinical services outlined above. While secondary insurance providers offer reimbursement for our services, we understand that not all clients have access to this kind of coverage.
In these circumstances, we’re happy to work with clients and their families to arrange treatment that’s flexible and accessible, while still maintaining the highest quality of care. If you have questions about our services and pricing, or types of coverage, please reach out to us. We also encourage you to visit our Resources page for more information.
